"My name is Uncle Ruckus, no relation." (I freaking love that character, he's so absurd haha)

What does he mean by the "no relation" portion? I googled it and Wikipedia said something about it being a reference to Uncle Remus or Uncle Tom. But that still doesn't really answer my question. Does anyone know? And please, provide a link or something to support your answer.

Thank you.
