On usps tracking it has said Electronic info recieved since the 15th of August why does it say that?

This is what it says

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on August 15, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later

shipped from Colorodo should I get it today? If im in NC

  1. That statement simply means that a shipping label with postage was created.

    Depending on what class of mail was used, you may get it today if Priority Mail or First Class Mail.

    If it is Package Services mail, like Parcel Post or Media Mail, it could be 2-9 days before delivery.

    By the way, you most likely are seeing Delivery Confirmation. Delivery Confirmation is NOT a tracking service. it is only designed to "Confirm" the "Delivery" of an item.
