  2. it is on itv1 and this years show begins in august!!! The show is usually shown 4 times on a saturday night with the main show 1st on itv1 then switch over to itv2 to see 'the Xtra factor.then it is back to itv1 to see the 'results show' and then back to itv2 for 'the Xtra factor'

    But there is a rumour this year that the results show will be on the following sunday night.Hope this helps?
