On which streets of Rio de Janeiro the video ,,They don´t care about us´´ was made?

Only a small part of this video was shot in Rio de Janeiro. The scene with the Christ statue, and also some shots in Morro Dona Marta, which is a "favela".

Most of the video was shot in Pelourinho, in Salvador, Bahia, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

wow.. i've never seen this video.. i just looked it up .. when did he make it ??

I know the 1st shots of the video are in Rio with the Christ Statue.. but the rest of the video where he is in the street with everyone in the background with the drums.. is in Salvador, Bahia.. no where near Rio.. its a few states North.   a good 2 or 3 hour plane ride
