On y&r, do you like that the writers have got nick & vicky butting heads with adam?

i was kind of hoping that the 3 of them would unite instead of doing the whole sibling rivalry thing. it seems like such an easy ploy on the writers part. in my mind it would be so much more interesting if adam sided with nick and vick. he has no reason to be so pro-daddy, especially since victor was a horrible absentee dad. it just makes no sense to me.

I love that they are all butting heads with Adam.  He is a little too much like his father!  Amazing since he wasn't even raised by Victor!  The writers are doing a great job with this one.  They have created another Victor!  I hope this feud lasts at least for a little while longer!

Well it does make since that they are fighting.  It means that they will come together as a family sometime (probably around Christmas is my guess).

I like Adam, I like it when he fights with seabiscuit, she needs to get knocked down a peg,they really need to recast her, I hope she gets hers

First off, Victor was not an absentee father to Adam, his mother wouldn't let him see Victor. Not to mention that Adam is arrogant and thinks he's omnicient, he's just like Jack Abbott, only he's an a*****e in training, and Jack's the total package.

That's the way the storyline is going right now. Adam comes into their lives all of a sudden and there is rivalry going on. Adam is a lot like his father. In the future, Adam may side with Nick or Victoria.

Well it's what's most likely to happen in real life, if a brother/sister you never knew just showed up in your life and then your parents starts to play favorites with him/her and treated you like c**p even though you were there with them all along. So yeah, l expect them to butt heads.

Adam on the other hand isn't a kiss @ss to nobody so he's not going to find it easy to fit in either.

I like that they have them not liking each other. Its realistic. I know that if all of a sudden my half brothers came into my life I wouldn't be too friendly with them.

I kind of like that they don't get along, it adds more drama to the story line of there being a new "Newman in town".

If they all got along from the very start and suddenly lived "Happily Ever after", it would be more like a fairy tale and not a soap opera!

i know. i agree with you that the storyline would be better if he and victoria and nick would get along and actually give each other a chance. all they do is compete with each other about who is going to run newman enterprises and who can live at the ranch. it's so childish

i am the captain for team adam.vicky and nick are jealous of the closeness adam has dev'p withvictor while vicor drifts away from them. they are getting off on a power trip. they never welcomed him into the family. i didnt intially like adam cuz i thought he was going after phyllis.once that was done with i fell in love with the character.he is one of the better written complicated characters on the show.it would be nice if the newman kids could get along but as long and nick feel threaten by him they will not get along.
