  1. This is a bug caused by Yahoo in transition and updating their system.

It is like a come and go bug.

l can not delete my comments or some times can not post on friends page. But a day or two later l can.

So keep trying to do what your doing and you may hit a lucky day when things are working some.

You are not doing nothing wrong. The fault is on Yahoo. And we can not fix it our self, we have to try and work around these bugs. Hopefully our new network will come soon.

  2. I am sad to say that you probably are not going to be able to either. Yahoo is in the process of changeing the 360 site and the Mash site as well as email and all of the other services they offer to us into a different platform. They want to combine them all into one profile for us and they are doing away with the 360 as we know it.

We will have a new blog site but it will no longer be the 360. They have stopped doing maintenance on the site in September and have pulled a lot of the server from it to give it to the people who are working on the new platform.

They have set a date for sometime early in 2008 as the launch date..they gave one of my friends a specific date. But it has already passed us by.

Matt Warburton .. the new head of the Yahoo! 360 site has posted a blog on the Yahoo 360 Product Blog that will probably answer any questions you might have about what they have decided to do and the really enormous response he received at the information it contains.

This is the link to that blog so you might go and read it for yourself and not be so confused all the time. They really have not been very forthcoming with much information to the people as of yet.

It is hard to keep patience with this site these days.. but I keep hoping and hanging in there..

  3. If you've received comments & messages just fine before and suddenly you're not, then this sounds like a recent glitch that many people are experiencing, where the mailbox and/or Top Page comment box is busted except for specific periods of the day.

This is not a case where you should keep trying fruitlessly to delete messages, add/view comments or send invitations. It has nothing to do with your computer system either. You can't fix this problem, but you MAY be able to work around it.

You will see old messages and comments any other time of the day, no matter what you do because at those other times the mailbox or Top Page comment box is malfunctioning. You can try deleting comments/messages and it may appear successful, but it will likely return the next day at certain times.

You will just have to use the comment box and mailbox only at the specific times for when they are working properly. In other words, you will have to visit your 360 at various times of the day to see when the mailbox & top page comment box are working. Figure this out and then view your comments & messages at that time of the day.

With all that said, there's no guarantee that your mailbox or Top Page comments will work at any point in the day. But at least you can check it out, just in case. For me, it works between 4am and 10am CST.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. It likely will not be called 360 anymore, so yes, it's closing in a sense. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about those.
