On yahoo chat JP I can't hear people or talk myself.The button you hit so you can talk isn't there! Why?

I know its sounds Like an odd question! But the funny thing is On Yahoo chat US I can still hear and talk! But On Yahoo chat JP nothing the button you would hit so you can talk isn't even there!!! This all started yesterday after updating Yahoo messanger US to 8.0. could that have done it? And if you think I don't have the chat thing turned on I do!! Does anyone have any ideas?
