some people in my league are +100 or more IP I am about even, does this mean that at the end of the season they cannot play any more pitchers?

  1. In yahoo leagues there is sometimes a limit to how many innings your pitchers can pitch during the season.  Once your pitchers combined innings pitched reaches that set limit, you will no longer get credit for any pitchers stats at all.

This forces fantasy managers to closely monitor their pitching staff throughout the entire season.

Right now you are on pace to run out of innings pitched before the season ends.  Which means the last 2 to 4 weeks of the season, you will be unable to accumulate any points in your pitching categories.

My advice is to keep track of your pitching match ups and sit some of your starters who might be facing a hot hitting team or maybe a team who they have historically had bad luck against  It's tough to judge a lot of the time and you might s***w yourself out of some wins but it's better than sitting back the last month of the season while everyone else is accumulating points for strikeouts, wins, and saves.

    Good luck!!!

  2. That means they probably won't be able to use their pitchers later in the season, because they will run out of innings.
