On yahoo groups is there anyway to have a picture background rather then a color?

I was wanting to put a picture background for my yahoo group and wanted to know if there is anyway I can do that. Or if there are any other tweaks I can do to make it less borning! Any ideas?

right now, you cant. Beta Test groups have much more flexibilty with home page creations. they may be released with in a years time. just have to hang in there!

Sorry, but this can no longer be done.  You probably have already discovered how to add a photo to the description or change the color scheme.  That's about all right now.  Later on, Yahoo will be making major changes in the groups.  You will be able to do more with the appearance then.

I've had a Yahoo group set up since 2003 and you would think after 4 years they would have made some advances as to what you can do to spruce it up, but nope. Your only option is to change the color scheme. Boring. I don't even bother to monitor my Yahoo group anymore. I've found myspace works a heck of a lot better for such things.
