On yahoo weather what's the difference between isolated and scattered thunderstorms?

To me it seems like saying the same thing in two different ways but that doesn't make any sense so What's the Difference?

  1. As layman as possible:

    Isolated thunderstorms are rain clouds that are gathered in one area.

    Scattered are rain clouds that are broken up and spread out over a wider area.
