Once I have studied to become a GP doctor in the UK will i be in debt?

I would like to know if once i have studied at college, university and medical school i will be in debt. If so how much money?

  2. The fees for universities are around £3000 pounds a year.  To be a doctor you need to do 5 years at uni therefore you should owe around £15000 pounds. I know that's a lot of debt!!!

    It could also be more depending on your living arangements if you want to rent  accomadation near your uni or stay in their halls of residence that could cost you something like £150.00 a week which adds up to a lot over 5 years.  

    Fortunately I think you can get some grants of money which you don't have to pay back however I think this is only like a couple of hundred pounds.
