  1. The DMV will take a pic and issue an official state ID, no DL involved.

  2. The department of public safety should be able to issue an identification card. It will look like a driver's license but it says ID card.

  3. Every state has photo ID cards that you can obtain by going to the DMV.

  4. See attached link, you may get it from the age of 16.

    http://www.dmv.org/ny-new-york/id-cards....

  5. You can get a NON-driver's license. They're good for six years, at least in Missouri, and you can get them at any age.

  6. I think you can get government issued IDs at the license branch/BMV.  Call and ask.  I don't think it has to be in the form of a driver's license, I think they just take your pic and give you a card.

  7. At the DMV. Cost ya about $10 bucks!

  8. states have what's known as an identification card for just such a purpose.  You still have to get it at the DMV, but it's just for id purposes, not driving

  9. What you can do is get a non-driver photo ID card. This is actually available to any one at any age, you don't have to be 18 to get one. You can apply for one at any branch of the NY DMV. All you need is the application form and any of the required proofs of identity and date of birth. Go to this link which will take you to the official website of the NY DMV - http://www.nydmv.state.ny.us/license.htm... All the information is there. You can also download and print a copy of the application form from this site.

  10. the highway dept will issue you a valid state ID. You can also get an account with a bank and have an atm id

  11. Student card?
