Question:

Once a cheater always a cheater?

Is that really true? Because before I got with my fiance, he cheated with at least one other girl with all his previous girlfriends. Then right after me and him got together, he joined the army, and i believe he has changed. All of his friends say hes been completely faithful, even his friends that dont know that im his girlfriend.

So I'm wondering, is it really true that once a cheater always a cheater? Or is it possible that a life altering event (like the military) can make one "grow up"?

  1. Alternatively, maybe he met the right girl [you]. I disagree with that saying, once a cheater always a cheater. I cheated on a math test back in 2nd grade, but you can change your behaviors, and I haven't cheated on a test since!

You're just fine, sounds like he loves you. Keep it up.

  2. Don't listen to anyone telling you "once a cheater always a cheater." I cheated on every girl I've ever been with except one. I am now married and she is the one. The question you need to ask yourself is, "am I the one." If you aren't he will cheat. Guaranteed. I would.

  3. that saying is not true.

guys cheat because they arent satisfied.

but they eventually find someone that completes them

and suddenly they dont need those other girls:)

    so yes..

    a man can change

  4. sorry once a cheat always a cheat.

  5. Honestly, guys and girls can grow up and out of this stage of immaturity. Mostly when people grow up and realize the consequences of their actions and learn to control themselves, they no longer cheat.
