I think feminism has done ALOT of good things, but I look back at the world and compare it to now and see that we have quite a bit of problems. I always say that I gained more respect for a French friend of mine when he was willing to admit that Parisians are often arrogant. This is similar.

  1. I'm of the opinion that the first and second waves did much more good than harm.  Modern Feminism, regrettably, has used the good name of its "predecessors" in the interest of advancing hatred of men.

  2. No fault divorce

    Increased divorce rates

    Increased abortion rates

    Increased unwed teen pregnancy

Taking the shame out of unwed teen pregnancy and making these girls " Heros "

Damage or destruction to the traditional family

Decreased marriage rates and apprehension of marriage over all

    One sided domestic violence laws

    One sided rape laws

One sided right to choose laws

    One sided family court laws

    One sided domestic violence laws

Lowering of standards in certain professions

    Crazy positive discrimination laws

Biased scholarship , subsidy and SBA laws

and a lot more but I think that's enough to work with for now, But of course I'm sure you'll deny it all ,as usual.

  3. I actually think feminism is rather innocuous, it's just strange people pursuing an extreme.

Comparable to PETA or Scientology. People notice them, but no one with practicality in mind takes them seriously.

  4. I really don't know why I bothered to answer this but did you ever stop to think the world's problems are not caused by feministic women but overbearing, egotistical men?

  5. Feminism would be fine if it weren't for it's extremists being involved in education, social services, media, government and law.

  6. I think more problems were caused by men trying to rule others.  It is when a person is given priveledge which they didn't have to work for like white males that issues are caused.  Yes Lasata back before feminism the US was wonderful.  Full of oppression and segregation,  well thank Goddess for feminism and equal rights movements of all kinds.

  7. I think it went from a movement that advocated equitable (fair) treatment of men and women to a one that arbitrarily decides when we have "equality". First wave gave women equal rights and opportunities basically which was fair. Interestingly that doctrine was suspiciously close to egalitarianism which preceded feminism by hundreds of years so hijacking could be a possibility but hey the ends justifiy the means.

But anyways what was not fair was when the second wavers came along and looked at outcomes and saw they were not equal so had to start manipulating the opportunity.

It's like a race, first wave wanted us to have the same startline, second wave saw where women were finishing the "race" and tried to give them a spot closer to the finishline to "even out the playing field".

And we know that many will not stop until half of high powered positions are filled by women. This brand of equality is also known as communism. So much for letting individuals decide for themselves what to value. Feminism follows the patriarchy here and imperialises everyone with the belief that pursuing a career is and should be valued as a more worthy option for any woman.

It went from opportunity for all women to imperialisation of men and women  basically and has just perpetuated the idea that it's men versus women not us all just competing as individuals in life.
