  1. Construction "critical path" would be to leave the subfloor off until the basement slab is poured. Reason for this is access by the cement truck chute to "spread" the concrete. Once the slab is poured, subflooring can be installed on the 1st floor.


  2. No. You can mount fixtures directly on the concrete.

  3. That would depend on what type of flooring you want to use in the bathroom.

  4. No, hopefully your plumbing was roughed in below the slab for the stool, sink, tub/shower?

    The only type of finish floor I would suggest over concrete is ceramic,stone. In some cases you can install sheet vinyl, 12" x12" vinyl tiles, but only if concrete shows no sign of submoisture.

    Let concrete cure then test for moisture by placing pc. of aluminum foil over concrete, tape down edges and check in 24 hrs. If moisture is visible when you remove foil, then stick with ceramic,stone and install with a concrete based thinset mortar.
