  1. No. If your teeth need to be straightened, you will need braces.

  2. I'm not exactly sure really.

I had 3 years of brace work to straighten my teeth and I know

I was told if I let my wisdom teeth fully come in without getting them

removed it could cause excessive crowding and make my teeth even more cramped.

He also said it could cause the teeth to go crooked again. But I've never had any dentist or surgeon say that it will straighten the teeth.

I guess it could a little but not drastically...by having wisdom teeth removed it gives your other teeth a little room to move around and settle so they won't be so crowded (at least that's what my dentist told me)...so I guess in a sense they could straighten very very slightly...but if you're looking for a drastic straightening then it's a no...braces would be the best bet for that
