Once you open a bottle of wine using it for cooking, how long can you store it in the fridge?

Martha Stewart says "freeze leftover wine in ice cube trays and store in bags in the freezer."

Me I say "Leftover wine? What leftover wine?"

If kept tightly corked or with a tight lid it should last several months.  I have had a bottle of cooking sherry in my fridge for a couple of years and it still tastes fine.  :)

TO KEEP IT AT IT'S BEST FILL THE BOTTLE WITH MARBLES TO TAKE UP THE AIR SPACE AND IT WILL LAST LONGER THAN YOU WILL KEEP IT
