Question:

Once you tip a golf shaft, is it possible to go back and use a plug of some sort to add the length back?

I'm referring to adding the length back on the tipped end...

  2. yes a few years ago i did that to my driver you can add extensions

  3. it will effect the flex of the shaft . the more you cut off the tip , the stiffer the shaft will play . you can extend club at butt end . this will lower the kickpoint . this will give you a higher ball flight . if it is a factory graphite it is worth replacing with a aftermarket shaft . you can be tested on a launch moniter , this will give you the proper shaft, couple ides , reshafting 60 dollars correct shaft , extending , 2nd choice . good luck

  4. You couldn't add the length at the clubhead end, but you could put a grip extension on the butt end to make it longer again.
