Once your TIVO service plan runs out, are you just stuck paying month-to-month?

I went on to the TIVO site and it doesn't seem like there's a way to upgrade. My one-year service plan ran out and now I'm stuck paying 16.95 a month. If there isn't a way to upgrade, I'm thinking about cancelling my service and then signing up again as if I were a new customer.

Phone them and tell them that, they'll let you sign up.
