One Last Dream to make the most out of his experience in the Lingfieldpark.Co.UK Maiden Stakes at Lingfield
Lingfield is to become home for the Class 5 Lingfieldpark.Co.UK Maiden Stakes over seven furlongs on Wednesday, 4th April. The field will get invaded by fourteen runners for the race that has to offer the £2, 386 purse to the winner among the
entries.
There are quite a few on the lineup who are to race their career debuts and even those who do not have to, are very lightly raced. There is only one entry who has raced at Lingfield during the new season.
One Last Dream, Resplendent Glory’s three-year-old chestnut gelding out of mare Pip’s Dream, raced at Lingfield on 28th February.
He was positioned fourth in the Play Golf At Marriott Lingfield Maiden Stakes over six furlongs which was won by Fugitive Motel who was soon followed by the 1/3 favourite runner up, Traveller’s Tales.
Settling at the third position was Lyrical Gangster.
His second start of the season was in the Goffs Ready-To-Run Sale April 3rd Maiden Stakes on 20th March at Kempton over six furlongs. The race was won by Yeeoow while the 3/1 favourite of the race, Willies Wonder, was the runner up
of the race.
Settling third behind the winner was Choice Words.
Both the career starts have not been fair to One Last Dream and the third opportunity might just be what he was looking for all along and gets to finally bag it today.
Another entry on the lineup who has raced his career debut in the form of Goffs Ready-To-Run Sale April 3rd Maiden Stakes on 20th March at Kempton is Cooler Climes. He finished the race fifth as opposed to One Last Dream who could only
manage the tenth position on the lineup of eleven.
Three Valleys’ three-year-old chestnut colt out of mare Balmy, is in for the second outing of the career.
Five entries on the lineup are racing their career debuts which raises the bar for the level of uncertainty. They all can be by all means potentially capable entries who can threaten the once who have already raced.
None on the lineup has ever won a race that gives all the candidates an equal excuse to be far more competitive than a usual lineup.
One Last Dream is the only one with relatively reliable chances for the race today.
