One NEGATIVE effct of a warming trend on earth?

speicify how this effect will have a NEGATIVE impact on the living environment.

Glaciers are fresh water, the Atlantic is salt, melting glaciers means more fresh water mixing with the salt water. Which will lead to the destruction of the south and east coast.  Change in the currents.  Something to that NATURE.  

I believe it just the beginning of the end of our time and theirs.  The Earth will clean herself and she can claim self defense.  :(

rising temprature, as in heat.....which in turn means increased use of fossil or coal based fuels to cool homes and business. increased use of fuels increases greenhouse gases which in turn raises the earth temp. catch 22 situation.

The polar ice caps are melting, causing polar bears to drown while hunting for food.

It has accelerated the melting of the ice caps and glaciers.  This is diluting the Gulf Stream and may cause it to shut down.  The salinity of the Gulf Stream keeps it circulating.  

The Gulf stream brings warmth from the tropics to North America and Europe, making them habitable without undue hardship, and allowing crops to grow.  Just think of the movie The Day After Tomorrow.  

This is one of the reasons that the term Abrupt Climate Change is being used more now, to get rid of the idea that Global Warming is OK and will make things more pleasant.  The warming is a temporary condition that will lead to abrupt cooling and, perhaps another "Little Ice Age" or to a full-fledged Ice Age.

The warmer the Earth gets, the quicker the ice sheets will melt. when these ice sheets melt, penguins and polar bears will lose their habitat. Sea levels will rise due to more water from the melted ice and this will slowly errode away coasts and islands.

All the snow in the world would melt then massive floods would happen and then sea level will rise and shore lines would flood.

I don't see the problem with Global Warming- I wouldn't mind it a few degrees warmer.
