  1. I have a friend with the same problem only the Drs said she may never have children.Well she did!! She has a little boy now. You'll be fine.

  2. One Ovary Will be just fine. I went through IVF with only one working ovary..the other consumed by a chocolate cyst. Things will work out for you.

  3. One ovary is really all you need to conceive.

Don't worry so much! Think of it this way: at least you didn't lose both. You're going to be just fine, honey.

  4. I'm sure you can still have children hun. if its meant to be then God wll bless you with one. I acturally knew a girl that her ovaries was up side down, and they said she would NEVER have a child, welp her son is 2 weeks younger than my daughter and is a healthy bundle of joy. Just dont worry it'll happen if its meant to be.

  5. One ovary instead of two should not prevent you from getting pregnant. It still should ovulate every month.

A newborn girl has about 1-2 million egg cells, and by puberty there are about 300,000 left in both ovaries. Even with one ovary removed, you have about 150,000 eggs left over, so your chances of getting pregnant are excellent. Also, because the remaining ovary usually takes over, you can expect to ovulate every month. Ovulating every month means that you can get pregnant every month, even with one ovary.
