Question:

One Piece Composite Hockey Stick?

I was wondering, once my one piece composite blade gets all runned down or breaks off, would it be possible to cut off that blade, and replace it with a new blade? I was thinking, the shaft part seemed to be hollow, and if I was to cut it, I could probably replace it with a replaceable blade.

  1. for the person below me, yes even with the S17, you can make it a two-pice, you just can't put in an extension because of the hossel shape. An dyes you can put a blade in, just go to your local hockey shop and they will do it for you.

  2. What stick do u have? I think wit a stick like the s17 it wouldnt be possible but with most sticks u could cut off the blade flip the stick over and stick a blade in the shaft and use that

  3. I would take it to your Local Hockey Shop, if you buy a blade from there they would probably do it for free.

  4. yes and I think liroyals gave the best input. I have "recycled" broken 1-piece sticks into 2-piece practise sticks that way for years.
