My left boob is much larger than my right, not to mention my left boob has been hearting lately (not my period I'm pretty sure). What does this mean? I've heard it's normal, but I just want to make sure I'm healhty. Plus, are my b***s still growing since the left is occasionally in pain? I'm 18 by the way, and started puberty at 10 instead of 12.

  1. most women have one breast that is at about 1/2 cup larger than the other

  2. Most women's b*****s are slightly different sizes. It is just like how some people have different sized feet. If they are painful though, you might want to consult a doctor.

  3. its very normal so i would assume its healthy

  4. it is normal but you should see a doctor if they don't become the same size.. because you are already 18.

  5. very normal, they are not a matching pair of bookends!!!!

  6. They may still be growing.. some womens' b*****s still grow well into their 20s.

And yes, it is completely normal to have two different sized b*****s.

If the pain gets any worse, talk to your doctor.

  7. My mum did tell me that most women have a breast slightly larger than the other one. I have one! You dont really notice it when wearing a bra and i doubt most people on the street do, but you tend to focus on it when you're looking in the mirror :)

Anyway, the size of each of your b*****s is probably not something to worry about but if the pain is getting to you, it would be wise just to get a quick breast examination from the doctor. I mean, it would put your mind at rest rather than worrying each night what the pain is. You never know, once you get an exam, the pain might just go away too because you've stopped focussing on it.
