One day visits from paris to champagne and bourdoux?

I'm going to paris for my 25th anniversary, late april 5 days, don't know what to do if going to another country or just stay in paris, think paris will take only 1 or 2 dys. any suggestions of places and how do we get there? limited budget . maybe italy? for those experts travelers please give us suggestions

i have found that the best thing is to have a very loose schedule and relax.  There are plenty of things to do in paris for 5 days.  I recommend taking a day trip to Chartres cathedral,  it is cheap (take a train), and breathtaking.  Take the tour there as well, it's just a few dollars.
