Hi, i promise i read the book and im not doing this to cheat. I need help with this question and if you can help me that would be great :)

List five surrealistic elements in the book and explain. Think about and discuss distortion as a literary technique.

If you have read this book and have any comments helping or regarding this question i would greatly appreciate it :)

One of the elements im going to talk about how bromdens weakness wasnt real, its just what he believed and others made him feel that way...

  1. Haha I have that very same assignment for Ritter.

Page 11 has one surrealistic experience, when Bromden sees Big Nurse supposedly turn into a monster because the three hired help (the black boys) are huddled up and not working.

Another page is 79 where Bromden imagines of a matrix during the night when everyone else is sleeping.

  2. ...I have this for Ritter too...

    Surrealistic Elements:

Fog - not real, used for hiding by Chief

Clock - Big Nurse can control time? No.

Wires from Combine - Controlling everyone? No. Tried to show they had no control

Yeah, thats the gist of it. You can think of the rest.
