  1. the next time that you spin see if you are leaning when you spin cause when i started my one foot spins i would loose balance very quickly until i noticed that i was leaning alot so after practice of not leaning and standing straight i can get about 5 rotations on my cruddy scratch spin (my position isnt tight that is why im going so slow )

good luck with your spins!!!: )

  2. not exactly.... you need posture. your back should be straight and you should come into through backwards crossovers (do you know how to do that combo?!?!) then swing your left arm around w/ your right coming next.... go into a 2 foot at first then pull your foot up, then once you get good, come in ONLY on uno foot!!! good  luuuccckkk!

  3. When i spin, i usually travel or i fall, untill my coach told me what to do. most people lean when they spin, because they think they will have more power, but what you have to do is bend your knees alot and push, then spin.  If you keep practcing, you will eventually be able to do more than one rotation. Dont forget, dont spin on your toe pick, spin on the whole blade. good luck :D

  4. Yes, you will. You should not give alot of weight on the foot that is turning. And keep your back straight. Try not to do complete stop, try to keep going by throwing your weight around. Try expeirmenting with your weight and where you put it. A one foot spin is just where you put your weight and how you handle it.

  5. Yes.....also try to keep your back straight and hold your stomach if you want to help you......but with skating....everything comes with lots of practice

    good luck ^ ^

Edit:sorry,I just saw what I have written....I meant swallow your stomach.....or how to say it....you got the idea....I hope
