  1. My old Chevy pickup has a 200 hp 5.7 Litre engine. Using the Google calculator to convert litres to cc (cubic centimeters), 5.7 litres = 5700 cc. If that is true then, and knowing the manufacturer's rated horsepower for my engine, 5700 cc = 200 hp on my engine. So dividing the horsepower by 5700 cc to get the horsepower equivalent of 1 cc for my engine, 200 divided by 5700 = 0.0350877193 hp.

I am not sure I did that calculation right and I am sure this is not a scientific formula to answer your question but I hope this answer helps. But I bet if you take this question to the cars & transportation answers category you will get an answer from someone qualified to answer more precisely.

*Edit note: The answer I gave represents (using my engine specs) how much horsepower is equivalent to 1 cc. But after looking at your question a second time, you are asking how many cc is equivalent to 1 horsepower. That is not a problem though, still using the calculation from my engine specs, you would divide the 5700 cc by the 200 hp. Using the Google calculator again, 5700 divided by 200 = 28.5. So on my engine 28.5 cc is equivalent to 1 horsepower.
