One hour enough? from chicago uptown to o'hare airport?

my plane leaves 9:20pm Monday, can I accept the interview at 6pm (which probably will end 7pm), the office is at W ohio street. I was wondering maybe one hours is not enough for commute? suppose I don't need to check in any luggage at airport.thanks.

  1. Unless you take a cab, trying to get from Uptown to O'Hare in an hour is cutting it close. Even without checking in luggage, you still have to go through security and at that time it can be pretty jammed.

    Oh, and West Ohio street isn't Uptown, it's closer to downtown, which will make the trip to O'Hare even longer.


  2. Cab or the CTA?  CTA blue line is your best bet no bumper to bumper

  3. the cta EL train will get you there in 40 minutes but allow for security
