Question:

One jet not working in spa?

I have four jets in my inground spa. Three are working great. The fourth, instead of blowing air & water is dribbling water and feels like it is sucking. I've cleaned the filter so that's not the problem. Any ideas?

  1. You've got a small rock in the jet.

    Turn off pump

    Remove fitting

Use very long 9/16 socket wrench and stick into the jet.  Give that plastic piece a quarter turn.

Carefull.  They break easy if there is glue on them from construction.

    Turn pump back on.

  2. that is your suction tube that takes water from your spa and goes through the motor pump to distribute it to where it needs to be sent!!!

  3. Are there 4 jets and 1 suction jet? There has to be 1 to draw water back in to the pump to circulate the water. You might close the air intake on the top edge to see if it improves any.

  4. the guy above said something about a small rock in jet he may be right....another way that works on SOME jets is to take a 1/8" metal rod (like a filter center rod) and push it in and out of center of  jet while its running...SOME jets have an attached air line that can go back 12"  from wall of spa
