  1. I'd so get a CD player with heaps of songs and pump it out in the house have a whole floor cleared for dancing, sing and more get balloons cause I went to a 13th birthday party and there was balloons everywhere which keep everyone amused and think about by the time you eat and shower get dressed etc time will fly

  2. If you have a pool you can swim if its warm enough.

    You could chill, thats fun.

You could dress up & have a make over & stuff so you all could look good for the bbq.

All those sound fun in my book.

  3. You asked for ideas for your party the other day too, huh?  Ok, well here goes (again!):

    1.  By the time you guys are showered, dressed, have the house picked up, its probably going to be early afternoon.  You'll probably be tired, so plan a lowkey afternoon watching movies or making brownies.

    2.  Go to the mall.  Hit the food court for a light lunch.  Shop for cheap jewelry.

    3.  Go to a movie.  Eat lots of popcorn and candy.

    4.  If you have a "paint your own pottery" store near you, take your friends over to paint some pots.  The store will fire them for you and you can pick them up later in the week.

    5.  Go bowling

    6.  Go horseback riding

    7.  Go swimming

    8.  find out if your mom needs help with the barbecue.

    9.  Go to one of your friends' houses and hang out

    10.  Have an art project, such as each girl painting and decorating their own flower pot.  Include seed packs and little bags of soil as part of your favors.

  4. I don't get why you can't just have the sleepover on Saturday night - it won't hurt to miss church on Sunday just this once.

Anyways if that really isn't an option my suggestion is that your mum (since she is the one who is opposed to the Saturday night sleepover) could organise some sort of treasure hunt, either around the house or even the district.  At home it could be a band or singer theme.  She writes clues and you need to hunt round the house to find the name or even photograph of the right person.  For example a clue might go something like:   'Does this singer like a spot of wine while home'  - could lead to a photo of Amy Winehouse.  Make it difficult to span it out for a while, but not so difficult your friends loose interest.  Perhaps play in pairs and the pair who gets the most clues correct win a small prize.   Could do a similar thing for outside but clues lead to certain focal points on your district, like the church, cinema or whatever.

    Another idea:

On my sons 12th birthday I blew up ballons and put a piece of paper in each with a named prize on, some were better than others.  Top prize was a ten pound note.  The boys had to play a game and the winner got to choose which balloon they wanted -  but not knowing what prize was in each balloon. Then second place person chose next and so on until they all had a balloon.  Then all busted their own balloons and discovered their prize.  Nice surprise to see who wins top prize and not necessarily the person who won the game.
