I read in the mag "Intouch" that there was gonna be a full house movie. dont say it was a rumor because it was the lady who played Becky saying it. Anyway, she said its gonna be directed by John Stamos and they were looking for people to play the tanner kids. I'm 13 so depending on the age they have the kids i could play DJ, Kimmy, or Stephanie! Everyone tells me im really good at acting and that i should do it so i think i could get the part of someone [id wanna be kimmy lol im just like her]

so does anyone no where i could try out for one of the parts!?!?!?

thanks again,

taylor :]

  1. Did the magazine say they were going to do nationwide open calls?  Did they say they were looking for children with no acting experience?  If it did specify these things, then hopefully it also mentions when they will be posting this information and looking at people.  If it didnt say that then keep checking magazines and google.  But here is what is probably more likely: this is probably too big a project for them to cast just any old girl with no professional experience.  For these types of things they call in children with agents and/or professional credits.  Even if this is not the case there will be thousands of other girls, some probably with experience, and there isn't a great chance you'll get a part in a real movie.  If you want to be an actor you have to start small and work your way up to the good stuff, if it were that easy we'd all be doing it.  Do some school plays and local classes.

EDIT: By experience, I am referring to professional experience like other feature films you would see in movie theaters.  Just stick to the school plays for now.

  2. Hey, this is what i answered on your other one:

Well right now you're kind of in limbo.... until a full script is written and the major actors have signed on to do it, they won't be having auditions for the other roles.

Once they do, they probably won't have open calls for speaking roles anyway (sorry).

More than likely to get a part that is more than just an extra you're going to have to have an agent that can send you on an audition.

In the mean time, just keep working on what you do. Get involved in your theatre community. Get good grades in school and when you get a little older, you can start doing more acting work and eventually get involved in film work if that's still what you want to do.

    Good luck!

In terms of how to get an agent... best way is to talk to people. Meet other actors in your area and ask them which agency they're with. Then send in your resume, headshot, etc and hope that they're interested in meeting with you...

  3. Hopefully people are saying your good at 'acting', not at 'acting out'. These are not the same, and if you're like Kimmy,...

Anyway, you'll need an agent in LA. Unless they put an ad out for an open casting call in an LA paper or the industry rags, you're not going to get an audition without one.
