One of my doctors says the govt is like a big mafia with insurance,oil, drug co etc, is that true? ?

His son is a body guard at the WH and see who comes in to have meeting with the Prez , does he listen and is not permitted to say?

The suggestion is that the US is now a fully State-Capitalist country: you know, Communist and Socialist, where the means of production are entirely in the hands of the Almighty State and ruling "Vanguard of the Proletariat," rather than in the hands of those who work, as in the case of Free-Enterprise Capitalism.

    Could be. But don't give up your guns and Constitution yet...and don't drop your day job at the lemonade stand...


  2. absolutely. the "godfather" movie is an analogy of this. stylized and set in the old Sicilian mob but the principles apply. that is the way it is. they start off doing the dirty things necessary to get the capital to be able to got "legit."

    nobody more pious than a w***e attending church on sunday, my grandpa once said. plain enough for me to understand. I see it.

    vito corleone want his son to be a senator and not be involved in "the business."  joseph kennedy want a son to be a senator, maybe a president and made it happen. a good thing? face it, it represents the ultimate amoral greed and human cravings for material possessions and power - the honor. I heard george bush senior say virtually the same thing. asked why he ran, he said, "the honor." after you get all the "stuff" what else is there?

    is that the limit of the american dream. the paradigm for a government?

    People need to start voting with principles in mind. That's why this year it's libertarian for me.
