Its is hard to explain. I can feel my eye beating, like a heart, and when I look in a mirror I can see the muscle between the eyebrows and the eyelayes moving. I dont feel it when I close my eye. This is the second time that happens. Any ideas what can it be?

  1. It's a twitch, if you don't mind me asking do you suffer from stress?

If you do that will be the reason your eye muscles twitch, mine does the same.

  2. i get this when i havent had enough sleep or drank enough water...feels like a likkle worm in your eye

  3. It sounds like a muscle twitch.  These can be terribly annoying.  Usually, your eye and facial muscles are relaxed, when you close your eyes they tighten a bit, keeping the muscle from making that jerking movement.  This is typically caused from things like stress, nervousness, or the biggest culprit, caffeine.  The first thing that you might want to try is to lower or eliminate caffeine from your diet.  That would be things like coffee, black tea, drinks like colas or Mountain Dew, energy drinks, and chocolates.  Maybe try drinking a little more water and getting an extra hour of sleep each day.  I find that this helps a great deal.   Good luck!

  4. It's called "A Lazy Eye" mine does that
