One of my goldfish is chasing the other what does this mean?

my goldfish is bashing the other into the glass and rocks whats happening

depends, if its a boy chasing a gurl it wants to mate, if a boy chasing a boy it wants to kill it, if its a gurl chasing a boy, again it wants to mate and if gurl chasing gurl its having a hissy fit.

unless you want baby fishys OR another dead one, i'd seperate them. XD

it does sound like they could be fighting, watch them closely amd of the one bites the other seperate them also look for bite marks in there fins :O!

It can be that it's because one's a boy and the other one's a girl,or it could be that they arent getting along,over some odd reason.

well, that is happening to my two orange feeder goldfish and i am guessing they are mating or something.

i heard though they are the type of fish that only mate in a non-comunity tank.

thats not the case with mine though!

Its a slight confusing question u asked, goldfish chases another goldfish fro various reasons but normally there are three main reasons y they r chasing each other..

1. Mating- During mating time goldfish chases each other for the release of eggs, they do this chasing for a very long time, they continue this chasing until the eggs are realesed this may also include a death of a goldfish. When mating u will see that small white spots are grown in goldfish's gills, (both). If ur goldfish has these white spots then they are mating.

2. Playing- Goldfish like to play by thier same species. There playing is very rough so u can consider them playing.

3. Aggresiveness- Goldfish r terrotorial and aggresive they will fight against each other no matter what, whether its a male or a female they will fight, there fighting can include several injuries and death.

PS: If ur goldfish is doing any 1 of it be careful ur goldfish might die. U can search the internet for any information.
