  1. maybe you should put him in a room w/ a nice dog you know won't hurt him and he will see that it is okay!

            Hope my answers helped

  2. I'm betting if you'd just been chased by something trying to eat you, you'd be off your food too, so don't worry too much.  Quiet is probably all he needs.  But, a watchful eye and a trip to the vet if he worsens are probably in order.

  3. Hi

Have you checked him to make sure the dog did not bite him anywhere

Other than that just keep him warm and quite, the fact his sister is with him will help

    To a speedy recovery

  4. He is scared witless. I once showed up at a McDonald's here in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. and while I was about to order something at the counter, the counter girl brought a small box forward and handed it to me saying "Would you like a small kitten, PLEEEEASE?" I looked in the box and there as a trembling kitten, shaking all over. Someone had abandoned him out their car window in the drive-through. The sounds of the cars had put him into shock. I brought him home and into our living room where I sat down and simply spent time with him, talking to him in a quiet, calm and soothing voice. I kept at it, and he slowly began to calm down. I just spent time with him and he listened to the tone of my voice and it had the effect of calming him down. He slowly began to stop shaking. We adopted him and named him Baby Puss. He was my favorite cat. This horrible trauma to him worked to his favor later in his life. We live on a busy street, and he could continue to be an outdoor cat and visit the park behind our home because he would never go near the cars on the busy street out front of our home because of the sound of the motors which reminded him of the drive-though horror.

I would strongly suggest you spend quality time with your rabbit, speaking to it in a calming voice even if you don't think anything is happening, because your rabbit IS listening to the tone of your voice, and you can have a tremendously healing effect on him just speaking to him quietly and comforting him and reassuring him just the same way you would a frightened person, which is what he is, after all. Make sure his food is in the same room with you. I would suggest the kitchen because if he messes on the floor it would probably be easier to clean. Fresh water, too. Make sure he has that. Make sure his food is available, as his nervous system is going to take a little while to calm down. If there is another rabbit handy, make sure she is there with him, as well. They will telegraph calm to one another in your absence on the overnight. Also on the overnight, he will calm down some more, with any luck, simply because it will be naturally quiet through the night. He will slowly feel the protection of being inside your home and it will help to make him okay again.

If this persists more than two more days, make sure to take him to the vet, but doing that right now would only stir him up even more. Right now he needs the quietest and calmest environment you can provide for him. He needs your company, too, to reassure him with your gentle voice that everything is going to be okay with him.

  5. Rescue Remedy is a very handy thing to have around the house with pets.  You can get a bottle at a health food store or pharmacy.

You just shake the bottle well and put three to four drops on the rabbit's head between his ears.  It cannot harm him in any way and you can use it every fifteen minutes to help him recover from his shock.

It will not help with any injury he might have received from the dog and will definitely ease his trauma.

  6. I recommend giving him something he likes, stroking him lots and comforting him. Put him in his cage or hutch and maybe put a blanket over it for a few hours so it is dark and safe. Be careful next time!
