Why on earth the name calling when asking a question to you guys.

So my question here is......... What is a feminazi and why would someone be considered one for asking a question?

The anti-fems can get a little trigger happy around here.  I remember my first innocent question and how I was hammered by a bunch of GUYS?? Why would guys be in the Women's Studies section.  They have no gender issues.  They're not transsexuals???

Then I read about trolls.  Posters who only exist to write negative things.  You have met them.

Feminazi is term for a woman who hates or fears men and boys and loves to put them down. It's a woman with misandrist attuitudes.

Feminazi is the term insecure MCPs and anti-feminists sometimes use to refer to a feminist. After all, what can be more intimidaing to an insecure man or anti-feminist than a woman who stands her ground, claims her rights as a person, proclaims the fact that she doesn't need him, and is strong, independent, and confident? Probably only Hillary Clinton or a truly L*****n orgy. But by associating the term n**i with feminists, he can atleast justify to himself and maybe even persuade others to believe that feminists are scary and hateful. Its called rationalization. I feel sorry for people like these whose minds are confined within the cage of ignorance.

Edit: For Tychicus: I do not see all men as evil. I have made references to various men in my life who I dearly adore (not that I need to prove myself to someone who ignorantly calls me hateful). Neither do I want women to "run the world". I am a Human Rights activist. I promote the formation of a world where people of all genders, colors, nationalities, sexual orientations, and religions live in harmony without abusing eact others' rights. And I don't see s*x as rape as long as it is consensual, given that the consent was given by a rational, concious, sane, adult, person. Once again, you are trapped in ignorance.

Don't worry about it. On GWS, they call any woman with a brain who doesn't aspire to starch her husband's shirts and change diapers all day long a "feminazi."

It means they are threatened by you.

Feminazi is a hate-loaded term invented by that quintessential hate-loaded guy, Rush Limbaugh. It belongs in the same category as such words as k**e, n****r, w*p, mick, dago, and so on.

So if someone calls you by such a name, there is no point in either putting weight on the statement or continuing the conversation.

It's a word for the "bogeyman" that young boys use for an imaginary evil enemy who is taking men's "rights" away, rights like men's right to lock women out of schools, their right to rape their wives, their right to beat their wives and girlfriends, their right to date-rape women during necking after women say "No", their right to have better pay for equal work, their right to lock women out of certain academic fields, their right to have more money spent on their all-boy high school sports than on coed science labs, their right to have unfair advanatges in hiring and promotions, their right to lock women out of management, their right to be waited on by women, their right to get a girl pregnant and deny accountability for their unwanted children, their right to not pay child support unless they get custody of their children after divorce, their right not to have to pay child support if a woman refuses to abort her pregnancy, etc.  

That word is juvenile, comes from comic book / video game based mentality of monsters and good guys, Them vs Us pre-sexual stage of development drama. Only children use it.  It is socially unacceptable among adults because it insults the victims of n**i's and reduces the great evil behind n**i beliefs to something less evil and trivial.  A similar word also found in politics used only by children is "Libtard" for anyone not supporting Republican plunder paradigms or Conservative / Christian impositions of their pet sensibilities onto everyone else. My FAVORITE word like that I've seen here was "FU$KTARD".  That made me laugh for weeks because the monks with whom I live thought it was hilarious and playfully incorporated it into their speech and we had so much fun using it for awhile in our conversations.

These males feel threatened by empowered  self confident women and their only defence is to insult them.  We should pity these sad little men who have to use pathetic insults to try to boost their self worth.

Feminazi are Marxist women that believe that the only people who should have a voice is women. They often accuse men of being misogynist. And they accuse women who don't agree with their vies as being misogynist also. The feel if you are not with them, you are against them regardless of your s*x or race or cultural background.

Many women here call men (who don't agree with them) misognists and many men often refer to (who they believe to be extreme feminists) as feminazis.  Often the way we phrase a question can be misinterpreted as being insensitive to the opposite s*x.  Unless done on purpose.      

Most of us overreact, having had a bad experience in the past.  Others are just plain over the top haters.
