Ok, so I read a few yahoo answers but this stuff usually happens on there biceps. After school, I took of my shoe and one of the veins in my foot were kind of popping out. I went to gym that day and we did a lot of running. Is this good or bad?

  1. It's ok...I agree with both of the other answers.

  2. It's perfectly normal to have your veins pop a little on your feet. Like hands, feet are very bony, with relatively little muscle or fat for the veins to sit under (unlike say, arms or thighs). It's definitely not bad; it just means you're getting good blood flow.

  3. Veins tend to "pop" out more after the area involved is warmed. When I draw blood at work it sucks when a patient is cold because their veins tend to be harder to stick so I use a warmer to warm the area and make the veins pop out more.  The vein on your foot popping is healthy and just means that your foot was warmed for a while.
