OK....so this is different...I have a 300GB Lacie External Hard Drive (Whatever model is "Designed by F.A. Porsche") I use it on a MAC OS editing video with Final Cut Pro 4.4. I bought it about 3 months ago, formatted it as Mac OS (I think it might be Extended, I can't remember), and re-partitioned it into 2 partitions: Lacie 2 & Lacie 3. Everything worked fine, the drive was quick, editing was smooth. Yesterday, Lacie 3 disappeared. When I looked in disk utilities, it showed Lacie 2, and underneath it, Lacie 3 was listed, but it was grayed out. When I clicked on it for info, it says "Not Mounted" I thought it odd, since one of the partitions was mounted and the other not. I had never seen that problem before. So I clicked repair, and got this error: We have alot of important video files on this partition. Is there ANY chance of getting it up and running again, or of salvaging the files? If you need more info, let me know! More comp specs: Mac, Power PC 1.6GHZ 1GB RAM OS=Mac OSX 10.3.2 Thanks in advance!
