  1. Yes you should have a certain number of years of public service to qualify the President, but VP is a position that is chosen my the Presidential Candidate so I think that is irrelevant.  Palin has 16 years of public service and I do think that is adequate qualifications for VP.   I like Palin and there for I am voting for McCain now instead of Chuck Baldwin.

  2. There is a set of bylaws, and roberts rules of order that are followed. That is the first lesson. Then committees are formed to gain knowledge of any subject, and discussed with the leader.Bills are scrutinized for errors, and pork before being given to a leader. A leader has no time to spare for all the little details and is briefed by those committees. The only qualifications are age, citizenship, and not be in prison.

  3. I don't think it is possible to get to much experience from Alaska, which is closer to climate and the culture of Russia then any other state in the USA.

  4. What in the heck has Obama done to qualify then?  A service of present in the senate, a service of present in a racist hate group and says he didn't hear what was said!  I don't want anyone who was present anywhere for 20 years and can't tell me what was said or lie and say the man didn't say what was said!  Bi Bi Biden and Barack!  I want someone with experience and courage to really make a change and that is found in both Mccain and Palin!

  5. What do you do about the fact that she's been in politics two years longer than your presidential candidate?

Yet she's only running for VP?

  6. Serve?!? What, precisely, do politicians in Washington "serve" other than their own hunger for power and wealth?

I don't know much about Palin but she has four things going for her so far:

    1. She's for drilling for oil in the place _set aside for oil exploration_ in ANWR.

    2. She hasn't been a politician very long which means there's at least a _chance_ she hasn't been consumed by the need to service her own self-importance yet.

    3. She doesn't appear to have been converted to The Church of the Global Warming.

    4. Ever since she was picked the Far Left has squealed like a stuck pig, which is never a bad thing.

  7. I know........Obama was what a senator for less than a year.....Palin was a governor for almost two........its a good thing McCain has served for 20 plus years.......guess he would be your choice.

  8. Yet another example of why the people who SHOULD be president want no part of the job.

Note to Marvin:  Yes.  Palin reminds me a lot of my wife. Maybe she doesn't know all the answers, but by God, don't you dare tell her she can't find them.

  9. At least 35 years of age and a natural born U.S. citizen.  Those are the qualifications.  Nothing else.

This is the country of the people, not a playground for elitist snots.

Palin reminds me of girls I grew up with.  Most of the rest of the politicians remind me why my ancestors fought in the revolutionary war.

  10. Serving how for so many years?  Voting "present" or running for President?  How about actually running a government like a governor does?  How about being Commander of the National Guard in preparation for being Commander In Chief?  If Palin is a tart, what the h**l do you call no experience Obama?  I saw someone on Y!A refer to them as Obama bin Biden, lol.  That fits.

  11. The huge difference between Obama and Palan; Obama has a proven voting record on various issues in the State of Illinois and within the US Senate. Palan's voting record is limiting along with number of citizens, she has governor over. Two years in a remote state, doesn't equate to Obama.
