Question:

One side of my throat hurts, why?

It hurts when i swallow and the pain kind of radiates up to my ear.

I can't go to the doctor because my dad is in the hospital and we're going to have no money for a while, even though we have insurance.

So what could it be?

  1. Probably just a swollen gland.

If you get a cold, that happens.

It will go away when your cold does.

  2. It could be just a cold. Sometimes your throat only hurts on one side. Drink some hot tea, and maybe try to get the herbal tea called "throat coat" it's probably cheaper than a doctor's visit and it really helps.

If it doesn't go away after a few days I think you're gonna have to take a throat culture.

  3. Must I say? Next time use the other side.
