I ask do the quotes go before or after question mark?

  1. After

  2. A question mark is like a full stop. nothing comes after it. so you have done it right.

A Forests tends to be about trees, whereas a Jungle is the entire Eco system,i.e. water and plants Jungles are also Locational whereas Forests tend to be world wide.

    Edit

Seems that you can do both, however, i stick to my way (easy for me to remember) Heres a link to help you make your own mind up :-

  3. always after the punctuation mark

  4. According to uk level english grammar ,remember that always quotes must be ended last and all things like . , ! etc must be within the quotes!!

  5. After!

The student who asked made a question, which means it is a sentence.

The quotation mark not part of the sentence, so it shouldn't be before the question mark.

It should be written this way:

    - One student asked, "What is the difference between a forest and a jungle?".

  6. After.

  7. It is not necessary to include the question mark at all. After all YOU are making a statement. Quotes can be included after the word jungle but the statement is followed by a full stop ('period' for those of you from the USA).
