One thing, leading to many others?

As part of a marketing exercise, we have to come up with 'one thing which leads to many others'. For example, a tree leads to many apples, and a conductor leads to the production of music from many instruments.

Has anyone got any suggestions, however wacky?

someone writes a book--> someone reads the book

someone asks a qq--> some random person answers it

cant think of anymore--> think of em later...
