What is the legal requirements when going to any country, is it legal to fly into the uk with a single one way airline ticket ? does any body know of websites for answers on this subject.?

  1. i don`t know the legal requirement but its defo legal to fly into the uk with a 1 way ticket as long as you are back to where you came from within a certain time limit,

  2. No. You need to have a return unless you are in the EU or you have a visa.

  3. Well, "any country" is a little broad. Different countries have different rules. It should be pretty easy to get the UK's rules from an authoritative source (rather than me or fairly random strangers on the internet.)

    My experience, though, is that hardly any country is likely to give you a problem as long as you don't look like a bum, you have the means to pay, and what you say about your plans from there makes sense.

Depends on where youre going, if your going into a country which is a member of the eu a return ticket may not be necessary.  Other countries, it is more likely a return ticket will be necessay but will depend on the country.  You may get questioned by the imigration controls of the country you are going to.
