  1. Good thought!

  2. You can't reduce the usage of water but you can reduce the waste

If you need a liter of water a day you can't reduce that need but you can reduce the waste when you run the tap to get cold water, this applies to anything.

  3. MAYBE YOU CAN USE, BUT ECONOMIZE IT BY REUSING FOR ANOTHER USE

  4. There is no need to reduce the consumption of water at any cost. Only thing we must find the proper way to send back the used water in to under ground. So that the water will come again for our day to day use or when it reaches the sea again it comes back as pure water from rain. But we are not giving due care to take proper cyclic action. I have sent some use full suggestion to our water board to avoid the short circuiting of rain water. It was studied and appreciated by water board officials. But they have not yet implemented the scheme.

  5. While waiting for the water to heat up in a shower or sink, use a bucket, pail, or pan to collect the cold water.  You can use this for drinking, cooking, making coffee, or watering plants.

It might not seem like much, but you're looking at at least 2 gallons per day saved.  Thats at least 730 gallons saved per year per person per household.

  6. Quit flushing 5 gallons of water down the toilet every time you go pee.
