  16. Legend..........this could be negative or positive but i see it more as a negative.... there has been a lot of talk of Joe Louis lately with the HBO documentary but it seems as if no one saw it...i have kept reading about a Hero Betrayed or forgotten and its a little troubling ...i had read in years past of Joes flamboyant lifestyle and ability to waste money but i was unsure of this till the documentary .... after hearing Joe's Son talk of his fathers exploits its amazing the media of the time didnt try and Bash Louis as a careless irresponsible man the way they did Jack Johnson or Ali..... but is sad the hardships he had to go thru but i am more saddening for his family who had to watch as they went Broke because of Joes doing ..... theres an old saying from a movie called The Man Who Shot Liberty Vance and that is ..."When the Legend becomes fact, Print The Legend."  and it may be the case here but just my opinion
