My son will be turning 1 year old soon. I am trying to plan his party and select a theme. His fav toy is the little laugh and learn puppy from fisher price. He has ALOT of toys that have this little puppy on it and he loves them all - I also think it is adorable! I would love to do his birthday in this laugh and learn puppy theme but i can not find any birthday supplies at all with this theme. Anyone know where i can find anything at for this? I would also love his cake to be of this puppy too. I have checked all on the web and the fisher price website with no luck. Please help!

  1. That is such a cute idea.  I would just buy plates, napkins, etc that have puppies on them.  For the cake you could take a picture of your son with the toy and take it to any store that makes cakes and get them to run a copy of it off onto edibale paper that you can just place right on top of the cake.  I paid 8.00 for my sons at Giant Eagle.  You could also lable diffrent ojects around the house.  Make a shape and wright table, chair, etc. on it and place on the object.

  2. Play off of the theme.

Take a picture of the puppy and see if a local baker will put the image on the cake either digitally or just drawn in icing. Can you scan the picture in your computer and turn it into an iron on? You could use a computer program to write something like (name's) first birthday or something and use that with the picture to iron on to a tshirt for him to wear. As for plates, decorations, just play off the colors.
