One year to become a High school kicker?

next year i wanna try out for kicker on my high school football team, were terrible, im pretty skinny but what excercise and practice should i do? im a junior now by the way and im like 5'10'' what workouts and stuff would be best for this?

  1. id doesnt matter if ur skinny or fat u just need to be able to kick

    if u have a good soccer background it will help


  2. if you played soccer before youd be a good kicker and our kicker on my schools football team when i was in hs was really skinny and he ran ALOT to work his leg muscles and did alot of squats lunges and the road runner machine(you might not know what that its but its sick). i didnt play obviously but i managed them and i actually really love to watch football. dont laugh at me.

  3. practice kicking every day. make sure u bring a friend because u will wnt 2 kick more balls if u dnt have 2 walk back and forth getting the ball. plus work out ur legs alot. any workout u cn think of  for ur legs would probably help
