To be honest I think its good to report with the BBB but if you really want to be effective in letting people know about that site, you should also report to http://www.ripoffreport.com. When people search for "Is *****.com a scam?" or also if they just search for the website, and there's lots of complaints already, they will see reports on ripoffreport on the first page of google results most of the time. BBB doesn't get indexed by google as well so most people would not see your complaint unless they actually went to BBB and checked. If you really want to find out if a website is a scam, the best thing to do is search on google for the 2 phrases, the name fo the website, and the word scam. For example, if the website is called blahblahblah.com......go to google and search for this phrase "blahblahblah.com scam". It will show you ever time that website was mentioned with the word scam in the conversation. Not everybody who gets ripped off reports it to BBB or ripoffreport. I would say that most people do not because they are probably too lazy but alot of people mention if they got ripped off in forums and places like that, and by doing a google search like that, you will come up with everytime those words have been used on forums and stuff.
