Online Degree?? How to check for legitimacy?

I am looking for an affordable school where I can finish my last 30 hours on line. I am scared I will get some phoney school with fake credits. I want it to be accredited. Ashford University... is it accredited really? My spouse is in the military and we move around. Please give me schools, and my degree is psychology. How can I find out if it is a phoney or really accredited?

  2. Ashford university is in fact accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The important thing to make sure is that any college you are considering is regionally accredited by one of the CHEA (counsil for higher education accredited) organizations. This site has some good information on online psychology programs and some accredited programs for you to contact to see which is the best fit for you.
